Injectpower has partnered with California-based Injectsense to provide a micro battery for continuous and autonomous monitoring of intraocular pressure (IOP) for glaucoma
iOP-Connect
Injectsense's iOP-Connect samples IOP continuously from inside the eye at the rate programmed by the physician. The doctor learns about the patient's 24-hour IOP profile and then uses that profile to effectively manage therapy. The patient recharges the permanent
sensor using a pair of smart glasses for a few minutes each week.
NEUROSURGERY
Injectpower is supplying microbatteries for an innovative device embedded in a shunt that will measure intracranial pressure (ICP) and flow of intracranial fluid. The application will enable physicians to remotely monitor ICP and ICF flow and can determine whether the shunt is obstructed.
